Guest Post: From Sarah's Camera

Hello Everyone, and God Bless.
Today we have a good friend of ours Sarah from From Sarahs Camera, as a guest.  Be sure to check out her blog.. she's an awesome photographer.  let her know we sent you.  So that being said.. HERES SAAARRAAHH..

As a Pentecostal lady, I strive to dress modestly, Im not going to pretend and say that I'm perfect, because I'm not, I sometimes have to check myself and ask my husband if its too short or too tight, because I want to be pleasing unto God, not unto anyone else.
Some young ladies may think that dressing modestly is dressing badly, frumpy, or that its just ugly! Some ladies may think that looking good consists of dressing as tight and as short as you can.  I disagree, there are so many beautiful dresses and skirts out there that are modest.  Ladies, our body is the temple of the Holy spirit! and we should treat it as such.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Which leads me to my next point: Where to shop?  Lately it has become harder to shop for modest skirts, since most skirts out there are too short or too tight.  You can get decent skirts but at a price, and I'm one lady on a budget! So if I cannot dish out those 60+ dollars for a nice skirt, I head over to my local thrift store!  I can always find a decent skirt there, and dresses!

Thanks Sarah for that awesome tip!

Guest Post: Pretty Is This.

Hello Everyone,

Every now and then, we will be introducing to you a Pentecostal blogger. Today we have a special guest.  Her name is Stefanie from Pretty is This. If you haven't checked out her blog, you definitely should.  She has great style, and she's a fellow sister of ours.. so lets show her some good ol' apostolic lovin.  :)

Here's what she had to say about her syle...

I used to be afraid of color. I have always gravitated toward the neutrals, browns, grays, and black. Oh, I did I love wearing black When I started Pretty Is This, I decided to challenge myself and buy more color. Call me silly, but this freaked-me-out. I've never been that girl who takes on risks without a second thought.

As I was getting dressed for church this Sunday, I automatically went to my closet and chose two bright, bold colors and put them on without blinking. Funny to see how your personal style evolves, isn't it? Below is my Sunday outfit:

I know we all love Pinterest! Inspiration galore. Challenge yourself, work with bold and bright colors. Modesty is fun and beautiful; show it!

We totally agree that pinterest is awesome!
